You are here
- nasal blockage
- sneezing
- reduced or altered smell
- headache
- runny nose
- nose bleed, etc…
These symptoms can be produced by allergic rhinitis, sinusitis, a deviated nasal septum, inferior turbinate hypertrophy, adenoid disease and rarely more serious disease.
Minor procedures can also be performed in the clinic including removal of a foreign body from the nose or a biopsy. Rarely a nasal swab may be taken for bacterial cultures or a biopsy perfomed in the clinic itself.
Complementary investigations which may be suggested could include a CT or MRI scan at the Radiology department usually if surgery is being contemplated.
